The astonishing young DragonFly Trio performed Haydn’s popular Trio for Violin, Piano, and Cello with the famous gypsy rondo finale. The Holloway String Quartet, a wonderful ensemble from S.F. State University School of Performing Arts, performed Beethoven’s stormy Quartet in C Minor, Op. 18 No.4. And the program concluded with the Ethos Quartet, an emerging professional quartet in the graduate program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, performing the lushly colorful String Quartet by Maurice Ravel.

It was a magnificent concert!

After the concert, RRCM Members joined us for a reception at the new Ragan Gallery in downtown Healdsburg. The gallery was exhibiting the extraordinary art work of Maria de Los Angeles, a rising young artist who was once a resident of Healdsburg and Santa Rosa, and is now living and studying in New York City.
